W zasadzie widok i kwadrat to nie tyle dwie, co jedna ważna sprawa. Nie umiem myśleć o kwadracie w oderwaniu od widoku, a myśląc o widoku prawie zawsze myślę o kwadracie. Tak już mam. Kwadrat jest nie tylko cząstką mojego widoku, jest również jego centrum, jego metaforą, ikoną, czy nawet esencją. Często, kiedy mówię „kwadrat”, mam na myśli cały widok, całość zawierającą swoją własną reprezentację, swoją własną zasadę. Widok zawiera kwadrat, a kwadrat zawiera ten widok. Tyle w największym skrócie o tym, jak ma się jeden do drugiego.
Tobiasz Jędrak (ur. 1985) – artysta interdyscyplinarny, absolwent Akademii Sztuk Pięknych w Krakowie i Uniwersytetu Artystycznego w Poznaniu. Mieszka i pracuje w Poznaniu.
In fact, the view and the square are not so much two but one significant matter; I cannot think about the square separately from the view and while thinking about the view I mostly have the square on my mind. That is just how I see it. The square is not only the small part of my view but also the center of it; its metaphor and its icon or even its very essence. Often when I say the square I mean the view as a whole, the completeness with its own representation and its own principle in it. The view includes the square and the square includes the view. Briefly it is how these two relate to each other.
Tobiasz Jędrak (br. 1985) – graduate of the Department of Intermedia at the Poznań University of Art and Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow. He lives and works in Poznań
